Sometimes, boosting ourselves with excessive self-confidence endangers us of forgetting who we really are. Sometimes, just to get through with our challenges, we tend to make-believe---pretending we are all-powerful by ourselves. And a little each day of pretense makes it easier to deceive ourselves into thinking that we don't need God. We just got to make a u-turn from time to time, and hear our souls sing these words... "I am a flower quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow; a wave tossed in the ocean, a vapor in the wind."
