Pope Benedict's Final General Audience

Pope’s Audience remarks in English:

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I offer a warm and affectionate greeting to the English-speaking pilgrims and visitors who have joined me for this, my last General Audience. Like Saint Paul, whose words we heard earlier, my heart is filled with thanksgiving to God who ever watches over his Church and her growth in faith and love, and I embrace all of you with joy and gratitude. During this Year of Faith, we have been called to renew our joyful trust in the Lord’s presence in our lives and in the life of the Church. I am personally grateful for his unfailing love and guidance in the eight years since I accepted his call to serve as the Successor of Peter. I am also deeply grateful for the understanding, support and prayers of so many of you, not only here in Rome, but also throughout the world. The decision I have made, after much prayer, is the fruit of a serene trust in God’s will and a deep love of Christ’s Church. I will continue to accompany the Church with my prayers, and I ask each of you to pray for me and for the new Pope. In union with Mary and all the saints, let us entrust ourselves in faith and hope to God, who continues to watch over our lives and to guide the journey of the Church and our world along the paths of history. I commend all of you, with great affection, to his loving care, asking him to strengthen you in the hope which opens our hearts to the fullness of life that he alone can give. To you and your families, I impart my blessing. Thank you!

THANK YOU DEAR POPE!!! WE LOVE YOU!
ONE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT!

Biblical Films in the Digital Age: A New Era of Evangelization

Who has watched The Passion of the Christ in its entirety and remained unmoved? Who has become hooked on The Chosen and is not continuously being transformed?  These powerful productions remind us of the enduring impact of biblical storytelling. Whether reliving the profound sacrifice or walking alongside disciples in their daily lives, these films bring ancient narratives to life, inviting us into a deeper, more personal encounter with the sacred. The dawn of the new evangelization has come. God is our God of the past, our God of the future, and our God of the here and now. In every generation, even the means of evangelization must adapt. And our Lord knows that. He will not be contained in the past. He will be among us, here. Now. As one of us. God and human, God incarnate dwelling among us, preaching of His Kingdom. Whoever has ears, let them hear.  - Matthew 11:15 (Watch this on  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkfzovXpAVA  )

Take Away My Freedom

TAKE AWAY MY FREEDOM (by Lea Maria) Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to turn my back on You. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to hurt You. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to hurt and be indifferent. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom not to love as You have loved me. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to live just for myself. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to be deaf and blind to the needy. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to waste the time that is meant for You. Take away my freedom, O Lord, the freedom to ignore You when I know I heard Your call. I don't need these freedom, I don't want these freedom. Take away instead my life if my existence will be filled by these. For I only want to serve You and love You and glorify You. All the days of my life, O Lord, I belong to You.

Love is Doing!

Do you know what love is? It's not just a feeling in your heart, it's also something you do! Sometimes, saying "I love you" is super important. But showing love with your actions is like giving a big, warm hug without even touching! These are called concrete acts of love. "Concrete" just means real things you can see and do! Let's think about ways we can show love to our family and friends, just by doing things! Helping Hands (Acts of Service) Imagine your grown-up is super busy.  What if you: Help put your toys away without being asked? Set the table for dinner? Help carry the groceries inside? When you do these things, you're saying, "I love you and I want to help!" It makes everyone feel happy and cared for. Special Time (Quality Time) Do you love playing games or reading with someone special? That's a concrete act of love!  Put down your tablet and listen when your friend tells you about their day. Ask a grown-up to play your favori...
